African Americans wanted to be a part of something. So, even when their units were disbanded many still stuck together and even participated in the Spanish- American War.
I chose this picture because of the Bob Marley song with the same name. Some of the lyrics were;” they were brought to America, fighting on arrival, fighting for survival.” How true the statements. These people have been combating the system since day one. As we all know, at times, it is not their fault. Instead, it is the structure that has been put in place that creates disorder and discontent.
